MEET DAN PINCUS

Dan Pincus brings over two decades of leadership in the global sports and brand marketing world. Dan currently serves as Head of Global Sponsorships, Promotions & Hospitality at MetLife, overseeing a marketing portfolio that includes iconic partnerships with MetLife Stadium, the PGA TOUR, and international venues like the MetLife Dome in Tokyo. Under his leadership, MetLife’s sponsorship programs have generated billions of impressions and driven measurable business outcomes—ranging from sales growth to increased brand preference among key audiences.

Before joining MetLife, Dan held strategic roles at the NBA, Nike Inc., Iconix Brand Group, and agencies managing blue-chip clients like Pepsi, Hershey’s, and New York Life. Whether launching Shaquille O’Neal’s first signature shoe, producing Super Bowl campaigns, or developing cross-continental brand partnership activations, Dan has consistently delivered innovative marketing and partnership solutions that grow brands and businesses.

A proud graduate of the University of Maryland, Dan has also studied at the University of London and received a Digital Marketing Certification from the University of Vermont. He was recognized as a “Leaders Under 40” finalist for global sponsorship in 2015 and has won multiple industry accolades.

Today, Dan is the founder of BreakIn Sports, a mentorship platform designed to help students and early-career professionals find their path into the sports industry—with honest advice, strategic direction, and access to the kinds of insights only experience can teach.
